Lots of games this weekend, but can't find results on the AHSHA website.  Any suggestions?

It seems the cries for masking up again are getting stronger.  Which rink will be the first domino to fall and require face coverings again?

ScoutVid.com - FREE - Helping Kids in Sports - Needs Advice
Posted by: ScoutVid - 08-10-2021, 11:13 PM - Forum: Arizona Youth Hockey - Replies (1)

www.ScoutVid.com - We are here to promote youth hockey for all skill levels. It is 100% free. Young athletes can save their videos here and share their profile links with prospective coaches, friends and family and scouts to view.   Profiles will help show skills that might not get noticed in a short tryout setting and can include off ice training videos and an interview to give coaches more insight into character and work ethic.  This will enhance the tryout process and help kids that don't do great in the tryout setting but are otherwise very good players.  Being in the ScoutVid database ensures players can be found when searched for and their talents will not go unnoticed.

The temporary site is active and players can be added to the database right now.  Profiles will be transferred to the custom site shortly.  The full site is under construction and we could use some development help while their is still time.  What would everyone like to see?  We want it to be a database where all players can be found when searched for and place for the players to keep their videos all in one place so they are easy to share just by thier profile link but how do we make it fun for kids?  There is much more in the custom site but we want to make sure we are not missing anything so we really appreciate your input.  Thank you in advance.

Better Youth House/Development Program North Phoe/Scotts?
Posted by: PapaMoose1911 - 07-12-2021, 07:08 PM - Forum: Arizona Youth Hockey - Replies (1)

I’m a parent of a 7yo who is just starting out in hockey. He has done some prehockey classes and Little Howlers. Now we are starting to consider which youth house program might be the best for us. This question is directed to parents, players and coaches with any personal experiences. Between the House programs at AZIce in Peoria and the IceDen in North Scottsdale… which house program is better at developing young players and why? Thank you in advance for and responses or recommendations.

  When do HS practices start?

Heard Pinnacle has started practicing.  Any other teams practicing now?  Anyone know when their teams start practice?

Just moved to Scottsdale, have two sons that play hockey, oldest is 16.  From what I can tell, the Jr Coyotes don't have a travel team (A/B) at midget.  Am I understanding that right?  Do Jr Coyote players just quit after Bantam?  What's the deal?

Also, they don't have an 18AA team?  And three midget AAA teams, and one midget AA team?  How can that be?  Back east associations tend to have more A teams than AA teams, and more AA teams than AAA teams.  Jr Coyotes seem to have it backward.

Very confusing for someone used to playing in the Northeast Sad
