Anyone have a roster for Team Arizona?  Is there a reason AHSHA is keeping it a big secret?

Word on the street is it's just a bunch of U18 bobcats. Another friends & family sort of thing.

They're scrimmaging a Pinnacle team on Sunday at Oceanside.

Still waiting to see this roster. Anyone got a link?

I find it interesting that they publish a zillion all star and all academic lists yet won't publish the best representation of Arizona HS hockey even to those that paid to try out. Seems fishy.

Same thoughts here. We keep checking the actual tournament website but they haven't plugged anything in yet. Probably safe to assume it happens later this week.

Roster is not bad, a couple eye raisers on who they left out. I looked up a couple players that made it I hadn't heard of, and yeah, their stats are pretty weak compared to a plethora of players who were not selected. That said, perhaps many of those better players didn't tryout or didn't want to commit. And there was that odd rule of no more than 4 players per HS or association team.

It does seem odd that some of the top D2 players aren't there. They didn't even get Brophy's best player IMO, but maybe he was a casualty of the no more than 4 from Bobcats 18AA? And there was a Cactus Shadows player that was also on the 18AA natty team.

I hope they show well in St Louis and do AZ proud. Seems like AZ could put a better foot forward. I understand not loading up from the same high school, but not the same association team? That's shooting ourselves in the foot.
