Logged in to see if anyone had a score. Very exciting! Has an Arizona team ever won natties before?
Great job boys!

They went 6-0 sounds like a tier 1 team/organization to me……

Seems like a pretty good situation to declare Tier II yet still play against strong AAA competition in NAPHL. This was a legit AAA team. And just a point behind the Jr Notes per myhockeyrankings.

Agreed but AZ hockey fined Bobcats for doing just that. Why not let an organization compete against a program that clearly has a monopoly. Bobcats have proven yet again that they can produce quality teams and compete at that level. Otherwise AAHA needs to back off and let teams like bobcats compete at the AAA level with the Naphl.

The core of that bobcat team has been together since mites/peewees. It speaks mostly to the effect of sticking together as a group and not jumping for greener grass moreso than anything pertaining to coaching or organizationally. If caha offered an 18AA team, this banner would likely be headed to ice den where this group first got together.

Congrats to the U18AA team, well done.  That was a very impressive way to finish.

Regarding monopoly, are the Jr Coyotes and Bobcats really the same club or not?  The whole "combined for tax purposes but not really combined" makes it confusing.  If CAHA has two AAA teams, is that any less of a monopoly?

Given how the coaches from each club badmouth each other, from the customer perspective they are two different clubs for all intents and purposes.
