Grown Men Playing Youth Hockey
#1
If you’re a high school graduate, stop playing youth hockey.
It’s time to grow up and move on. Plenty of opportunities for adults to keep playing.
Get out of the way and give an actual kid a chance.
That is all.

Didn't get cut. Sitting on the offer for now as expectations have just been lowered. At least he has his AHSHA team still. Until that board decides to start letting night school GED guys to sign up.

"Hey are you coming to the frat party tonight after the game? No, I have a mandatory team bonding with my high school friends"

If the Division was high school, then it would be time to move on...  that the division is 18U, means 19 is the time to move in.  Admittedly stating the obvious, but apparently not everyone can grasp the obvious.

I agree with your obvious statement.  There are kids who start school earlier depending on where their birthday falls in the school year.  If someone finishes school earlier than their peers, it make no sense that they should be disqualified from playing.  A HS diploma does not give you an unfair advantage on the ice.
